With the Anna Gong we see designer Alessandro Mendini incorporate the essence of the original - when closed, it’s a table-top sculpture and when open, it becomes a multi-tiered cake stand that can be used at the table. Mendini incorporates his own iconic Anna G motif into the design and the resulting design fusion is such a success that it brings about that special ‘Ooooo!’ moment when seen in the flesh.
